We are proud to announce that we’ve started on a 114,000 square foot A-1 Self Storage facility in the Pacific Beach community located at 2740 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA. In addition to the storage facility, there is a Sonic Drive-In planned for a portion of the property. Both projects are on schedule to open in November of 2016.
The addition of this A-1 Self Storage location will help to meet the storage needs of the Pacific Beach community and its neighbors. Customers will be able to rent a unit using our state-of-the-art online rental platform, or visit the office anytime Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Additionally, customers will be able to access their units from 6:00am – 10:00pm every day. A-1 Self Storage makes renting a unit easy and convenient whether you have a 9-5 job or a student at University of San Diego.

There will be no access to our A-1 Self Storage facility in Fountain Valley, CA on Wednesday, February 3rd & Thursday, February 4th. As part of our ongoing improvements, we will be resealing the asphalt. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We will resume normal access and office hours on Friday, February 5th.
Due to a natural gas leak in the area, our La Mesa A-1 Self Storage facility at 8328 Center Drive is closing for the day. There is no access in or out of the facility at this time.
We anticipate access to be restored tomorrow morning. Updates will be posted when available.

Normal access hours are available at most locations. Please check with your location to confirm the schedule. For your convenience, we also offer a 24 hour rental/payment kiosk at 19 of our A-1 Self Storage locations! We will reopen on Friday, November 27th.

The 69th Annual Mother Goose Parade will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 10 a.m. Considered the largest parade West of the Mississippi, it includes over 100 colorful and exciting parade entries, such as floats, marching bands, giant helium balloons, clowns, eloquent equestrians, special guests, and of course Santa Claus at the end of the parade.
As the parade route runs along Main Street El Cajon, traffic around our A-1 Self Storage location will be impacted. Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic at 9 am on Saturday, and re-opened sometime after 2 PM. You will be able to access our facility by foot during this time, so our office will remain open for business normal hours.
